Learning to do Vintage and pin up hairdo

One of the brightest stars in Finnish Burlesque, Olivia Rouge has a classic pin up style, in clothing and in her hair and makeup. To make this style easy access for all of us, she has been hosting Vintage Style Workshops since last year.
In the workshop she will be demonstrating easy hairdo’s from 20’s to 50’s and giving helpful tips for both, hair and makeup. Workshop fee is 40€ and will include some tasty snacks and bubbly drink. I have been in one of these workshops and I have to say it really made a difference. I have read books about vintage hairdo’s. I have viewed tutorials from YouTube and I’m still complete rookie when it comes to vintage style hair.
To see it done in front of you, trying it yourself and instantly getting feedback on how you are doing and what you might be doing wrong is very helpful. Olivia’s fun and down-to-earth personality helps to create lovely, cosy atmosphere. Not to mention her homemade snacks which were delicious.
If you are looking for easy ways of creating vintage and pin up styles, this workshop is definitely worth trying out.
Next workshops will be 23.4.12 in Tampere and 14.4.12 in Turku. Apparently Turku workshop is already fully booked, but if you are quick to sign in, they probably will organize another one on 15.4.12.
According to the latest update, both workshops in Turku are now fully booked. However keep your eye on this site for information on future events and workshops.
